The American Ultra II Stratocaster features a select alder body with a deep body contour. The quarter-sawn maple neck has a Modern D neck shape and a comfortable Ultra Satin finish on the back of the neck. The ebony or quarter-sawn maple fingerboard with a 10-14 inch compound radius features Ultra rolled edges, medium jumbo frets, phosphorescent Luminlay side dots and a Graph Tech TUSQ nut. The tapered neck heel and deep body contour allow easy access to the high positions.

The American Ultra II Stratocaster is equipped with three Ultra II Noiseless Vintage Strat pickups, providing superb tone without hum, from sweet crystal-clear cleans to scorching lead sounds. The patented S-1 switch allows for unique pickup configurations, further expanding the variety of sounds. It is equipped with highly practical features such as a two-point American Ultra synchronized tremolo with pop-in arm, polished stainless block saddles, cold-rolled steel block, deluxe locking tuning machines, soft-touch knobs and a 1-ply anodized pickguard.
