K.Yairi JY-45B Black Custom 2013 Japan

Up for sale is one the best J-45 guitars available on market, made by leading Japanese manufacturer Kazuo Yairi. This model is called JY-45B BK CTM – it’s pretty much a standard JY-45, finished in super stylish gloss black. Made in Japan, year 2013. Top is selected spruce, body&sides are mahogany, neck is mahogany, fretboard is Indian rosewood. Bone nut and saddle, nut width is 43 mm, scale is 645 mm. Impeccable building quality, as always expected from higher-end Yairi models. 

Excellent condition – there is general feel of use, couple dings and scratches, but nothing really worth mentioning. Frets show no wear. Strings are new D’Addario 12-53 EJ16, set at comfortable height. LR Baggs M1 magnetic pickup is installed, which makes a lovely pairing with this model. 

Soundwise, it can stand next to any Gibson J-45 out there. Those punchy, woody low-mids, overall tonal balance, clarity, loudness and dynamics – all is here, only for half the price. An ultimate workhorse, perfect companion for stage and studio. Black finish is rare to come by, so might be a collectible as well. 

The guitar comes in original hardshell case, with paperwork and truss rod hex key.
